Carmelite Hermit's Kitchen

We are a self-supporting community. Work for us either with livestock, baking bread, making chocolates or jellies etc. is an important element of our spirituality. The simplest of tasks becomes a concrete occasion for transcending oneself in humble service. When embraced with faith, work is rich soil for the spiritual life.
